The new update on the Android 5.0 Lollipop allows you to read messages, read google cards, even the settings can be accesed and no need to unlock the phone. One can easily toggle through wifi, blue tooth, auto rotate, airplane mode and mobile network from the lock screen.

The way we create a guest profile on a computer, same can be done on this device as well. In the guest profile the apps can be added and guest profile can be customised by doing so. Guest user can also adjust the wifi setting as well. This feature is more usefule for the Nexus series, which is not a family computing device. So you do not have to swipe to 3 different screens to get the app you want to use.
More Colors
The Operating System's feel and look has changed. Many things like Contacts, Icons of mails and calculator have been revamped. There is some 3D effect on few of apps like contacts and the colors are brighter.
Even the Google cards are more colourful now, the cards titles have banners now, on clicking them, the more information comes out than earlier. You can get wikipedia and news articles. Galleries now called photos.
Different Keyboard
In keyboard as well, there is a change black letters and white background, which is a total change from the previous one. You will find clear and bigger keys. In Cyan blue colour the enter and emoji key are highlighted. This change will make the beginners to use this device easily.
