Happy Ending: Astrological Movie Review

Happy Ending is a romantic comedy starring Saif Ali Khan, Ileana D'Cruz, Kalki Koechlin, Govind and Ranveer Shorey. The movie is directed by Raj and Krishna DK. The movie is pictured in Los Angeles. Yudi who is an Author, character is played by Saif Ali Khan who is scared of commitment just like any other teenage guy. Ileana is one of his rival writers. The story unlike its title has nothing close or synonymous to happy ending. The editing and the screen play are not up to the mark by directors. The movie could have done more to the character of Govinda but he is utilized only as an entertainer in the movie. Ileana with her good acting skills has made her mark. Saif, the urban stud has become typecast by playing same kind of character which he has played in his previous movies like cocktail and many more. Kalki Koechin could not show her talent and acting skills; Thanks to her limited role in the movie that did not allow her to work on her skils and play a better role. The director who has proved his name in past with movies like "Shor in the city" and "Go Goa Gone" could not do enough justice with awesome star limelight and casting. The movie lacked substance. As per the prediction of Astrology this movie will not be a great gainer at the box office and will only be able to do an average business, though the songs of the movie are getting popular specially the "G phad Ke" song which has become the USP of the movie and a peppy number and is hit and running high in the charts as well.
