Model-turned-Bollywood actor Milind Soman won India's Ironman title after completing Triathlon competition in Zurich, Switzerland. The triathlon competition is known to be the toughest races in the world. Overall 2,000 participants participated in this Triathlon among which there were seven enthusiastic Indian competitors. The Triathlon was organized by World Triathlon Corporation. It includes a 3.8 km. swimming, 180.2 km. cycle riding and 42.2 km. running. This sports event is regarded as one of the toughest race in the world. It does not allow the participants to take a break. All participants need to complete the entire process within 16 hours to win the title of 'Ironman'. 50-year old Milind Soman completed the triathlon in 15 hours and 19 minutes. After winning the title, Milind Soman was quoted as saying, "If you are sufficiently aware and monitor your body's response at every stage in terms of nutrition and pace, it will all come together." "I wanted to gift myself something special in my 50th year and I am glad I could do this," The supermodel has been practicing for the event for many months.
