The day is celebrated with a lot of fervor in industrial areas especially. As with other Gods, Vishwakarma is honored on his birthday. The problem is that since Vishwakarma is the original creator of the world as it is illogical to say he was born on a particular day. According to Hindu tradition, Vishwakarma is known as the creator of the universe. Vishwakarma Puja is celebrated mostly by engineers, industrial workers, artistic weavers, and craftsmen. Professionals from the architecture industry also pay their respects and prayers to Lord Vishwakarma. Craftsmen believe that the creation of their tools was due to Vishwakarma, which is why on this day they worship their tools.
