About Guru Purnima
Guru Purnima is the day which is dedicated to spiritual and academic teachers and educators. This day is celebrated to pay the respects to the teachers and guides to express gratefulness and acknowledgement. Students perform the Guru Puja on this day and one is blessed with knowledge and greatness.
The day is observed on the full moon day in the Hindu month of Ashadha (June–July) of the Shaka Samvat.

The Greatness of Guru
