Who is Dattatreya?

He is described in Hindu mythology as a three-headed, six-armed deity, with each head symbolizing the three major gods. He is often shown holding a trident, a drum, a conch shell, a discus, a staff, and a water pot. 

Dattatreya is a symbol of unity and harmony, as well as a guide and teacher of spiritual wisdom. He is believed to have lived as an ascetic in the forests and mountains of ancient India, where he taught his disciples the principles of self-realization, detachment, and devotion.
