How to go for Hanumanji Puja
First of all donate water to Sun God after taking a holy dip in water. Then draw two Swastik signs on the two sides of your main door. These paintings please Mother Lakshsmi and Bajarangji both. Thereafter write Shree Ram on a Peepal leave with vermillion and offer it to Hanumanji. You can offer Motichur Laddu to Him too. While opening your mind to Lord Hanumanji apply vermillion on a coconut, binding it with Moli and offer it at the lotus feet of Lord Hanuman. It is believed that if you can do so all your problems are sure to be removed. Now burn a lamp of oil and began chanting the Mantras of the Lord. The Mythology Behind
As per a mythological story, Lord Hanumanji was born on a full moon day and his father Kesari was the son of Lord Brihaspati. His mother Anjana was an Apsara of the Heaven who was cursed by a saint. After worshipping Lord Shiva for 12 years she was removed from the curse. Hence Lord Hanumanji is regarded as the Avtar of Lord Shiva.
